In this third edition, we highlight SHOREWINNER\u2019s growing engagement at European level and key milestones achieved through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic coordination. From high-level vocational excellence forums to major offshore energy conferences and consortium governance meetings, this edition showcases how SHOREWINNER continues to strengthen vocational education, innovation, and cooperation across the offshore renewable energy ecosystem in Southern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. SHOREWINNER at the CoP CoVEs Forum 2025 \u2013 Strengthening European Vocational Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8-9 September 2025, SHOREWINNER proudly participated in the Community of Practice for Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoP CoVEs) Forum 2025 in Kolding, Denmark. The Forum brought together leading European initiatives to exchange knowledge, expand networks, and showcase innovative approaches to vocational education and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHOREWINNER actively contributed to the T-Shore workshop \u201cBuilding and Expanding Europe\u2019s Future: T-Shore\u2019s Vision for a Strong CoVE Network\u201d, where Project Leader Teresa Nogueira and Ilona-Elefteryja Lasica presented the project\u2019s role in strengthening vocational excellence in Southern Europe. Alongside partners from Wind Energy Ireland, Skive College, POM West-Vlaanderen, and Katapult, the session highlighted strong synergies between T-Shore and SHOREWINNER in advancing cross-border cooperation, industry engagement, and structured peer learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Advancing Collaboration at OTD Energy 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHOREWINNER took part in OTD Energy 2025, one of the leading conferences for the offshore and energy industries, offering a valuable platform to engage with key stakeholders, innovators, and researchers shaping the sector\u2019s future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing the project, Mara Marzella (Deep Blue) presented the SHOREWINNER Circle networking platform, demonstrating its potential to strengthen collaboration across the offshore wind ecosystem. The presentation also highlighted the close cooperation with the T-Shore project and the shared ambition to establish a European Community of Practice connecting academia, learners, and industry. Discussions during T-Shore\u2019s stakeholders\u2019 meeting on 14 October focused on integrating both projects\u2019 online platforms, facilitating the exchange of best practices, and enhancing mutual learning across European regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. 6th Steering Committee Meeting \u2013 Coordinating the Path Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SHOREWINNER consortium convened in Lisbon on 31 October 2025 for its 6th Steering Committee Meeting (SC#06), hosted at the Pavilh\u00e3o do Conhecimento \u2013 Ci\u00eancia Viva. The hybrid meeting brought together universities, VET providers, CoVE leaders, and industry representatives to review progress and coordinate upcoming milestones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key discussions covered curriculum alignment with offshore wind skills needs, development of career kits and CVET short courses, evaluation frameworks for CoVE impact and sustainability, dissemination and communication activities, and long-term strategic action planning. The meeting concluded with agreement on priorities for the coming months, including the launch of learning materials, national CoVE development events, and preparation for the next impact assessment and reporting cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
